Role of Professional Competency for the Development in Education in New Challenging Situation

Abstract

Education is the base for the development of society, human beings culture etc. Society is not constant. It is dynamic and there is changes time to time according to the need of society. As we see during pandemic covid 19 situation, there was a immediate change in the society and for this reason change in education is required also. It demanded in the professional competency in education for fulfilling that situations demand. So, it is very important for the teacher and also for teacher educator to be professionally competent. In this paper the need of professional competency and meaning of professional competency in education for teachers and teacher educators are explained.
